When visiting Youtube, there’s no need to type the full domain name, just use utube in Google and because that word has been added to the Google 2008 alphabet of brands you’ll go straight there. Connect it to a specific keyword, e.g. utube i kissed a girl and you will jump straight to the search results and clips you’re after. In fact with the newly out of beta Google suggest if you simply type “u” without the quotes
utube.com Youtube.com will be autosuggested.
Other keywords added to Google’s list are amazon, ebay, bebo, craigslist, facebook, hotmail, gmail, runescape, xbox, and youtube (Yahoo was dropped to #2). the single initial letter will give you these words as autosuggestions.
Elsewhere in the list is UK uber department store John Lewis, which is odd given that most people outside the UK will never have heard of John Lewis.
