Uninstalling Firefox Add-ons

July 15th, 2008 · by David Bradley

Firefox logoSome time ago, I offered a few reasons why you should remove Firefox add-ons to improve your browser’s security, but what I didn’t do in that particular post was go into details on how you should remove those add-ons, also known as extensions or plugins. There are so many add-ons for the Firefox browser that it is possible to end up with a heavily bloated system, grumbling along with dozens of useful and useless extra applications all of which have to load when you fire up your browser, so getting rid of at least the useless ones can also help make Firefox load faster).

Anyway, for instructions on how to remove Firefox addons, you can either visit the Firefox FAQ or visit this readymade tips and tricks page on this site.
