Saturday Quick Tip logoYou may have noticed that every hit in the Yahoo! search engine results pages (SERPs) points to a Yahoo URL and when you hit it, it redirects, presumably so that the company can monitor popular sites. That’s a pain if Yahoo happens to be having a slow day or if you want to see the URL before you visit or have custom link colors defined in Firefox options.

Here’s the solution: Install and enable the Greasemonkey script engine for Firefox. Install and enable the Yahoo Redirect Remover script. Does exactly what it says on the can.
