SQT: Copy Your Own Comments
February 23rd, 2008 · by David Bradley
This week’s Saturday Quick Tip will save a lot of heartache when you comment on blogs or leave feedback on any website.
Once you have finished writing your opinion but before you click “submit”, select all the text, and make a quick copy of it to the clipboard (Ctrl-A followed by Ctrl-C in Windows; other operating systems are available). Now, if the submission form fails, you won’t lose your comment, so you can try again without having to retype the whole piece.
Give it a try in the comments box below, you know it makes sense.

I can’t believe you think this is so novel an idea that it merits a post. Welcome to thinking. Make room for the rest of us who have already been in the room.
Seedless, I can’t believe you think that a post that you think is not novel merits a comment from you.
Like I say up-front this is my blogging tips notebook, it acts merely as a record of the workarounds and hacks I find useful. Maybe this isn’t the hottest post ever, but not everyone in the room is as clever as you, it’s just possible someone else will find it useful
