SQT: Boost Your Feed Readers

Welcome to the Saturday Quick Tip (SQT, for short). Here’s a very simple way to at least get a few extra RSS subscribers for your blog:

Ask your visitors to subscribe!

There, simple, very quick, obvious, but not always implemented. Just tell your readers about your blog newsfeed, what it is, how to subscribe (make sure it’s easy), give them direct links to subscribe in all the most popular feed readers, such as Google Reader, Bloglines, Newsgator, and Netvibes.
