Instead of compliments this week it’s been idiotic idioms, such as “Don’t bite off more than you can chew”, “Absence makes the heart grow fonder”, and others. Do the spammers somehow thing tacking a random saying in front of their porn and phentermine links is going to get them through Akismet and my personal spam filter?

“Do not carry rubbish out of your hut”
“Do not praise yourself going into battle; praise yourself coming out of battle”
“A single thread from everyone ? and there is a shirt for a naked one”
The grammar has begun to suffer and some of these maxims have taken on a surreal edge:
“Do not come into the stranger monastery with your own Charter”
“If you have had call yourself milk mushroom - go into the basket”
Finally, there’s “Hello, my name is Karen, I’m 18 y.o. Brunette Babe from L.A. I have started my own blog”
Somehow, I don’t think that one is a recommendation to better oneself and to do unto others…

Yet another form of spam for this week. Instead of compliments and proverbs, we’ve got dozens of lonely asterisks, sometimes they’re accompanied by one or two words: More *, Here it is… *, Lots *, etc. Very bizarre and sooooo easily trapped by Akismet because of the sh*tty URLs associated with each *

I just got a comment spam that was bit weird all it said was “When courage is needed, you’re never around.”. It linked to the usual crap viagra ad, so I didn’t take it too serious, but these guys could cut you to the quick if youre sensitive.
