ACTA, Apple, Audiogalaxy

These are my latest tech news finds for this week:

  • Psonar – Your music. Your way – Could Psonar be the “eBay of music” and what on earth do the creators of this rival to the relaunched AudioGalaxy actually mean by that, anyway…
  • How to subscribe to a feed using Feedly in Google Chrome – First install RSS extension for Chrome, then add Feedly as default subscription opiton with the following URL “http://www.feedly.com /home#subscription/feed/%s[action.subscribe” (no quotes, no space). Something of a niche tip, I realise, but I needed to use this to get Chrome operating as I’d like it to.
  • Ninite Easy PC Setup – Silent unattended installation of multiple programs at once. Save times when reinstalling your OS
  • gTunesGoogle looks set to launch a rival to Apple’s iTunes. Give it a couple of year’s and Microsoft will probably do the same, calling it Live Tunes. Oh…wait a minute…
  • More ACTA leaked – Particularly disturbing is the growing support for “three-strikes” copyright rules that would disconnect whole families from the Internet if one member of the household was accused (without proof) of copyright infringement.
  • Google Wave open source next step – “Wave in a Box” – Google Wave resurrected as open source.
