Scamming the scammed

Anyone who has ever fallen for an online scam, such as a lottery spam or an email from some random wife of an ex-African dictator claiming they have millions of dollars to share with you, then you’re probably just the person the latest scam is aimed at. Once bitten, twice shy does not always hold, if a person was stupid, naive or gullible enough to have sent their bank details, passport number, date of birth and mother’s maiden name to a stranger or sent off a cash sum to a scammer, then they’re probably just the sort of person that the latest scam email is aimed at as it promises “Compensation for scam VICTIMS!!!”
To claim your compensation all you have to do is send off your bank details, passport number, date of birth…
