RSS Footer

Saturday Quick Tip logoAre you using the RSS Footer plugin?

The reason I ask is that I saw a little “a” at the foot of my posts when read in an RSS reader and realized there was a glitch. I’ve seen it elsewhere in other blogs – such as PureBlogging – that I read in an RSS reader, so suspect it’s a default bug. It’s easy to fix, just delete the “a” that is somehow sitting in the “Content to put in the footer” box for this plugin’s settings. If you haven’t a clue what I’m talking about, not to worry you probably didn’t respond to my initial question in the affirmative.

Hi David – I use that plugin but don’t see the ‘a’. Perhaps I deleted it from the defaults when I set up the plugin.

To be honest, I’m not sure exactly what causes it, but like I say I’ve seen it a couple of times elsewhere, so it has to be a bug of a database interference or something like that…
