Representative David Bradley

Regular readers may recall a short “vanity” item I posted recently entitled David Bradley Killer, Lover, Player, Puller in which I pointed you to the seemingly thousands of other people on this planet called David Bradley. There are actors, computer engineers (Ctrl-Alt-Del guy), various professors, media moguls, artists, and photographers, a murderer and even a pornstar.

Well, I was quite happy to share my name with distinguished actors (one plays Argus Filch in the Harry Potter movies, the other (who starred in 60s Brit Flick Kes) changed his name to Dai to avoid confusion with the Filch guy. My being confused for a photographer wouldn’t be so bad, as I’m very much an amateur with delusions of grandeur (check out my flickr gallery if you don’t believe me). It was rather upsetting to discover there was a murderer with whom I shared my name, especially as it turns out he’s from my home town, and it was slightly odd to discover a pornstar called David Bradley.

However, all of that pales into insignificance as I discover there is a US politician called David Bradley. He’s a Democrat in the State House, apparently, and has a science degree (Psychology, University of Maryland, 1977). I could live with the actors, the photographers, even the pornstar, but a politician?
