Coursekit has “re-imagined” the online classroom. The site says it gives instructors and students the tools to manage their courses – calendaring, file management – and facilitates user interaction. Usually a good thing between tutor and student and between students.

“We believe that there’s a lot more to class than lecture,” teh site says, “Post links, videos, files. Start discussions. Write a blog post. Ask about an assignment. Classes are meant to be social, but they rarely are. We’re changing that.”

The creators claim to have forgotten what they knew about clunky university software and have built something that is completely state of the art.
