How much does Santa Claus weigh?

It’s probably not a question you’ve asked yourself much, although at this time of the year, it might just be on a science professor’s mind
The CVC’s No Santa! site discusses (a la Roger Highfield) Santa Science. Intriguingly, and presumably not without tongue firmly in cheek, there’s a dubiously significant figure cited in the text
“Santa, meanwhile, will be subjected to centrifugal forces 17,500.06 times greater than gravity” apparently. This is during the sleigh ride to deliver toys around the world. 17500 times would have been fine, but can you see the significance of that “0.06″ it has to be a little festive irony. Surely?

i would like to know his exact weight….i mean if you eat that many cookies you gotta be packing on the pounds….AND EVERY YEAR!

Yeah, but have you ever herded reindeer during the summer months, that a whole lotta exercise, the santa blubba is merely insulation to protect the underlying six pack and rippling pecs during Christmas Eve.
Oh, he’s 242 pounds, by the way, but with a perfect BMI for his age.

David Bradley is correct, he’s 242 pounds… WITHOUT his suit on. His suit actually weighs an additional 16 pounds.
His favorite drink is the “Peppermint Fluff Martini”, and his favorite food is Mrs. Claus’ Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies… who can blame ‘em?

Does Santa put on weight after the Holiday season and then go on a diet? Just curious…
David Bradley // Sep 15, 2008 at 6:09 pm
I suspect Ms “from Santa” that he puts on weight well before the holiday season and then trims down after Christmas in time for his vacation on the beaches of Rio.

I agree with David above, whose comment was “herding reindeer during the summer months, that a whole lotta exercise, the santa blubba is merely insulation to protect the underlying six pack and rippling pecs during Christmas Eve.”
Came upon this early in the morning. Great way to start my day — with a smile!

i rhink he weighs 694 according to the movies i watch i estamate and plus eating more than 1million cookikies a year one cookie is like 2 pounds so 694 is my answer

Actually, the 50 to 200 KCal per cookie power his “Mr. Fusion” generator which allow high-sublight speeds, and supposedly he does have a singularity drive which curves space to get him going even faster.
All of which use massive amounts of energy. Santa decided it was cleaner that way. Eating all of the cookies each year meant at least one of them was made with a kid with dirty hands which meant Santa had the Trots, which almost ruined a Christmas about 400 years ago.
