According to a study by Microsoft, users of its Skydrive service, which until recently was offering 25Gb but only offers 7Gb to new users, just 0.06% of users were using more than 7 gigabytes of space. 99.94% of the SkyDrive accounts use far less than that. Microsoft is obviously using the study to cut the total data loads on their servers, but loyal users of SkyDrive can still be “grandfathered” into the 25Gb tier, as I mentioned previously.
