Greplin – grep for social media
November 22nd, 2011 by David Bradley >> 2 Comments
Greplin lets you search your Gmail, Google Docs, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Dropbox and many other accounts in the same way as you used to with Google Desktop and similar tools. From Wiki: Greplin is a social search engine created by Daniel Gross and Robby Walker which operates by linking various user accounts belonging to a registered individual and running a query search for keywords within those applications or accounts.
There is a premium version and modules that can be unlocked by earning credits when you mention Greplin in a tweet, email or on Facebook. There is also a handy extension for the Google Chrome web browser.

I’d love to hear what you think of it after you’ve used it for a while. Sounds like a really helpful search feature!
