Free Computer Magazines
October 18th, 2007 · by David Bradley
These days, I seem to do almost all of my reading online, I bet you do too. When was the last time you picked up a print magazine, or perish the thought, a book that didn’t have an “e” in front of it? I’ve got a stack of books sitting on my desk awaiting review on Sciencebase.com including one from my former colleague at New Scientist Gabrielle Walker (An Ocean of Air) and a book on Molecules and Medicine even as I write.
If you can judge a book by its cover, then, they all look fascinating, but much easier to pick and flick through in an idle moment while your laptop is rebooting or doing its virus scan is a nice free computer magazine. Free, you say? Indeed! There is a whole stack of free computer magazines to be had through the Sciencebase partner site, just click the link to make your choice.
Even if you prefer to maintain all your reading on-screen, there are also several Internet White Papers and eBooks and papers on Internet Security. Also up for grabs is Code Magazine, which provides the Microsoft-oriented IT community with an advanced tech perspective and explains in-depth how to actually use MS development tools…well somebody’s gotta.
