Cornstarch Fingers and Holes

This is a lovely bit of science, vibrating cornstarch, puffing and blowing makes persistent holes and a writhing mass of finger-like protrusions.

    Husband wants to know “what are they vibrating it with?” Guess cornstarch is what we would call cornflour in UK? Fun stuff to play with! And an amazing video – thanks so much for that!

    Cornstarch = cornflour.

    I presume they’ve got it on top of a laboratory vibrator (used for shaking mixtures and doing cornflour experiments among other things!)
