Age shall not weary them, stats might

Age shall not weary them…but statistics just might.
Apparently, cancer is now the top killer for people under 85 in the US. It has, according to an Associated Press report, eclipsed heart disease mortality rates. I’d like to suggest that if the researchers moved that age limit up or down a few years they could make some other disease appear to be the leading killer just as easily, eclipsing all others. In fact, if they took into account mortality outside the US, they’d quickly reveal that malaria and AIDS totally eclipse all causes of death at all ages.
