Google Hacks on Video

October 19th, 2007 · by David Bradley

Want to view and perhaps even control security cameras on the web? What about finding sites that are not spidered (simple trick using robots.txt)? How about spying on a webmaster’s Frontpage user information or their VNC info, easy with some simple search strings?

You can even check out someone’s php photo albums without their knowing. This is a serious security issue for webmasters who should really get this loophole closed before someone exploits it to upload photos to the gallery. A similar search can reveal “open” printers to which someone could send any document or image for printing in someone else’s office. It could get nasty. Another serious security issue involves a string involving phpAdmin through which someone could take control of your php website. But, I digress, check out the Google Hacks video to find out more.
